    Hey, new here.
I had a medical abortion in my home a couple days ago. 24 years old, live with my boyfriend, pretty much an all around stable life.
It was an easy decision for the both of us. The physical pain was very intense along with fever, diarrea, and shaking.
Anyway, its been a couple days and I just went back to work. I noticed I didnt feel hungry all day long and still have some back pain and nausea (slight emotional numbness).
I cant say I regret the abortion because I know it was the right decision in my heart of hearts. I would not make a good mother, nor do I have the resources to raise a child at the moment.
The only female in my life that knows is a close friend who also had an abortion, but I moved and between work, its hard to go visit her.
My boyfriend has been great and supportive through the whole thing, but Id like to talk to someone who went through the same physical changes.
I was 9 weeks..I guess I just needed a good rant. I dont know how I feel at this moment. Putting on a happy face for everyone, but I honestly cant say how I feel. No tears, just numbness.

What you are feeling (or not feeling) is not unusual at all, hun, but knowing that doesn't make it any easier.

I'd strongly recommend that you register an account and come on the main boards where there are many, many women who understand exactly what you are going through.....they've all been there or are there. This board is only seen by guests, volunteers and administrators.
